Upload EMIS CSV
Select your ICB region first, then upload your EMIS Population Reporting CSV. Ensure your search exports all mapped columns.
Standard Operating Procedure
- Export Data: Run the EMIS search, export as a CSV (excluding the first summary rows), and upload the file here.
- Recall Patients: Click the Bloods / Wt Due dashboard metric to generate a recall list. Contact these patients to arrange their necessary checks.
- Refresh Data: Once checks are complete and EMIS is updated, re-run the EMIS search and upload the fresh CSV.
- Process Reviews: Click the Ready to Complete dashboard metric. Copy the generated DOAC review notes into EMIS and add the appropriate CrCl code.
- Escalate: Target patients flagged under the CP Review and For GP Review metrics for appropriate clinical escalation.
- Maintain: Re-run this process at agreed regular intervals to maintain compliance.
Information Governance & Data Handling
Patient data stays on this device. This tool runs entirely inside your browser. The uploaded CSV is processed locally in memory only — it is
never uploaded, transmitted, or sent to any server, cloud service, or third party.
The application makes no external network connections of any kind (enforced by a Content-Security-Policy); it contains no analytics, tracking, or remote code, and all software libraries and fonts are built into the file so it works fully offline.
Nothing is saved or stored: patient data is held only for the current session and is cleared as soon as you close or refresh the tab. No cookies or local storage are used.
Your responsibilities: because the on-screen data is patient-identifiable, only run this tool on an approved, encrypted NHS device in line with your organisation's information governance and data protection policies. Do not leave the screen unattended or unlocked, do not save exported CSVs to unapproved locations, and delete any local CSV files once processing is complete. This tool supports, and does not replace, your local IG and clinical governance obligations.

Clinical Limitations & Exclusions
Important context for clinical governance:
- Child-Pugh Score: The app flags elevated ALT/Bilirubin but does not calculate Child-Pugh scores required to contraindicate in severe hepatic impairment.
- Medication Adherence: Checks if a DOAC is on repeat, but does not analyse prescription issue dates to confirm patient adherence.
- OTC / Herbal Interactions: Only flags interacting drugs explicitly captured in the EMIS search (Column P). Cannot detect unprescribed OTC NSAIDs or St John's Wort.
- Risk Scores: Does not calculate or monitor HAS-BLED, ORBIT, or CHA2DS2-VASc scores.
- Recent Acute Events: Does not screen for recent GI bleeds, upcoming surgeries, or sudden AKI events occurring between scheduled blood tests.
- Contraindications: Does not check for pregnancy or breastfeeding status.
